Wordless Wednesday

Don't Blink

I was raised to be Atheist, and because of that certain people within my life find my fascination with Angels a touch odd. I collect angel themed items, and they are scattered about our home, mixed in with the gargoyles, sci-fi action items, and other assorted bric-a-brac. I also like to photograph angel statues whenever I have the opportunity.

I've taken several angel shots in cemeteries. They are great subjects. I do believe in angels and am fascinated with the idea of entertaining angels unaware...
That is a beautiful shot you got there...

I don't think angels and atheism are incompatible. And that is a particularly nice angel statue, she has some depth of soul, but also a simplicity to her.
