Thursday Thirteen #46

Thirteen Sig Files

The following are sig files I have either used, might use, or have seen being used by others, and thought were rather clever, and amusing. I know we have been asked to do themes now, but I did enjoy the creativity of being able to just do what we want, so that is what I did. Hope that is still ok. :)

1. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt
and a leaky tire.
2. Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
3. I have never let my schooling interfere with my education
4. My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance.
5. Knowledge is power.
6. And in the death, as the last few corpses lay rotting on the slimey thoroughfare......
7. An eye for an eye would make the whole world blind
8. Suburbia is where the developer bulldozes out the trees,
then names the streets after them.
9. Shin: a device for finding furniture in the dark.
10. Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so
11. All it takes to fly is to hurl yourself at the ground... and miss.
12. There is a very fine line between “hobby” and “mental illness.”
13. Things the movies taught you: A detective can only solve a case once he has been suspended from duty, and at least one of a pair of identical twins is born evil.

What's your sig file? Happy TT, and thanks so much for stopping by!

Cheers!
Sue

Great list, Sue. I clean with a glance all the time. We call the dust part of the atmosphere.

I'm a TT off-roader these days, too...

The first one is NOT FUNNY! Well, actually it is. I had one of those trips once - began with a broken fan belt in the middle of no-where in Tenn. Ended up with a busted radiator in the middle of no-where sitting on some Interstate in Nebraska! I had stops and break-downs in KY, Iowa City, and we finally solved the problem there in Nebraska!

*sniff*

I don't have a sig. If I did, though, it'd just be my website and blog address. Nothing fancy.

My kids are much better at this than me. They always wonder this: is Santa brings the presents, why do the toys say made in China?

This is a wonderful list. It made me giggle quite a few times.

My favorite would have to be "There are no ordinary moments."
