I have a nasty head cold at the moment, and I thought since I am feeling all sucky about it, you'll just have to listen to me kvetch...lucky you....
1. I am allergic to stuff in over-the-counter cough syrup so must suffer
2. Honey, and lemons don't cut it.
3. I am also allergic to cold and flu tablets ... so again lots of suffering.
4. My throat is sore.
5. Food tastes bad.
6. My nose is sore from blowing it.
7. I hate being snotty.
8. I hate having cold sweats
9. Oh and drooling in my sleep -> gross isn't it!
10. Oh and keeping hubby up with snoring so he is miserable the following day.
11. Having no desire to be creative, and gasp not even really wanting to blog.
12. I have a great book to read, but the minute I lie down I fall into a snotty, stuffed up, drooling, snoring, mess of a sleep.
13. Ok the one up side to having a bad cold is that I could pass this on to someone I really dislike - but I no longer work for my old company! Ha! Just Kidding ... seriously if you are one of my old co-workers I didn't really mean that...really....
Happy TT, and hope you are having a happy and healthy week!
Cheers!
Sue
(no Xs and Os today cause I'm germy)
The holiday season is here, and this morning while I was out doing my errands for the day I had a look at some of the displays in our local market square. Christmas Cards business is actually big business in our neck of the woods as we have several card companies in close proximity that are vying for local shoppers. Despite all the hoopla though I have noted an absence of truly beautiful greeting cards in the regular shops, and will probably order something a little special online this year.
The Gallery Collection has an online shop that specialises in business Christmas Cards that are quite lovely. There is something to suit every taste on their extensive website.
I was reading up on how they are providing holiday cards to Soldier’s Angels, which supports the personnel of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and the Coast Guard and their families. Now how cool is that! It is always so nice to hear of companies that care, and give back like this.
Cheers!
