This week Blog Talkers Asks:

If a parent who is responsible for paying court-ordered child support fails to pay his or her due, do you think that the parent in question should be prohibited from seeing their child? Why or why not?

This is a tough question because while I loathe dead beat Dads, and Moms I also do not want to see the child punished too. And that is exactly what would occur, if the child loves that parent it would cause them tremendous harm as well in my opinion. Therefore my answer is no, why hurt the child.....but do pursue any means necessary for collection of support such as revoking drivers licences, and garnishing wages.

A child cannot be used as a pawn in order to force support payments.
