Speaking of the kids this past weekend was spent in part discussing the building you see pictured above. That is where the middle kiddo hopes to be accepted to this coming Fall. She is well on her academic road to one day becoming a lawyer, and we are very proud of her! However, she will need some financial assistance to help in achieving her educational goals.

Here in Canada we have a similar program to the U.S Pell grant, which does not need to be paid back. It is designed for lower income families, and I am a little surprised by the number of people who do not even know it exists!

There is an excellent resource on the net for scholarships and grants, and it is absolutely free to use. If you are a student or the parent of one you might want to have a look at scholarships.com for information on financial programs that you can qualify for. The site is easy to use, and well worth checking out!

We celebrated the kiddo's twelfth birthday with a family party this past weekend. It was great to see some of the kin folk who we only see during special family occasions, and I believe everyone had a great time...most of all schnookie, and that of course is the main thing. Looking for a Cheap Jaguar???? I never thought there was such a thing until I saw an advertisement for the I am certain one time gorgeous car below:

Wow! This vehicle was put up onto an online resource for used cars for others to take a look at, and in all honesty to humiliate its former owner. The ad was apparently put up by a very angry former (I am assuming if she was not before she is now kinda thing) wife of an accused cheater...can you imagine if she is wrong or mistaken!!!

My thoughts on the matter being a wife, and thankfully a happy one is why go after such a beautiful car...drool!!! I have always wanted to own a Jag...Instead go after the ne'er do well hubby, and his paramour with a bucket of paint! Or better yet take the Jag, and run off with the cabana boy! Revenge can be sweet, and involve no harm to luxury cars in the process!

The site where the ad is posted is also a resource for new cars, (that don't come with such emotional baggage - although it is highly doubtful that most used cars do either) and can help you out with getting car loans as well.
