A video that demonstrates how costumes and a mock-up of a magazine can help persuade shop owners to part with money for advertising space in a non-existent magazine.
What a cheeky scam!

Oddly enough, for some readers to learn about your blog mistress perhaps is that I have at one time or another in my life, been on both ends of debt collection. As some of you already know at one time I did work within the accounting department of a medium sized company, and when I was much younger did get into some credit troubles.
However, I am far from an expert on the topic, and therefore was quite interested to check out the American Profit.net website earlier this very afternoon.
This Debt Collection Services website is very informative, and provides excellent information on debt recovery via articles such as Collections 101, and Tools To Reduce Bad Debt. I found both to be well written, and more importantly perhaps easily understandable for a newbie.
The site itself is well designed, and I found it to be very easy to navigate. There are sections for various types of industries, including dental, financial, and schools to name just a few. As well there are specific sections for your role within these industries.
You can have a look at the site, and read through their company FAQs by clicking on the link I have provided for you within this entry.
Cheers!

Ford has sold Jaguar, and Land Rover to the company that builds the cheapest autos Tata Motors of India. Read on:
DETROIT - Ford Motor Co. is selling its storied Jaguar and Land Rover businesses to India's Tata Motors Ltd. in a deal that will net the U.S. automaker US$1.7 billion - roughly a third of the price it paid for the two luxury brands.
The deal announced Wednesday will expand the Indian carmaker's reach around the globe and give Jaguar and Land Rover badly needed capital to update and expand their product lines.
The sale had been in the works for months as cash-strapped Ford sought money to fund its turnaround plan.
Tata will pay $2.3 billion for the British brands, but Ford will pay about $600 million into the Jaguar-Land Rover pension fund when the deal closes, Tata's statement said.
Does anyone else see the irony in this?
I want a Tata car!
Cheers!

Good afternoon my peeps! Are you a serious online gamer? Perhaps you may be mildly interested in the topic of online poker? If so, please do read on as today I am reviewing a review site of Online Poker Sites!
The site that I am reviewing today provides the latest news, and information on United Kingdom poker sites along with US Poker Sites (or sites that will allow American based players).
Internet-Poker.co.uk/ is well designed in my own humble opinion and quite easy to use. It is not overly flashy, (something I do not appreciate) and it is jam packed with content (something I do want)! The reviews they provide on both PokerStars, and FullTilt Poker were quite informative. I have not played either of these online poker rooms, but thanks to the write-ups Internet-Poker.co.uk/ I have a better idea of what to expect, what specials, and promotions are being offered, and even screen shots. Now, how cool is that!
It was a pleasure to visit, and review this online resource this afternoon. I feel that anyone who would like to learn more should surf on over via one of the links I have provided for you. Like I said, the site is easy to use, and if you are into online poker there will definitely be games over there that will interest you!
Cheers!

Good morning my peeps! For those of you who celebrate it, I would like to wish you a very happy Easter day, and weekend. I am not a Christian, but we did celebrate Easter as children, and it is a tradition I kept within our home when my own kids were young.
This morning I had a look at the website of a company that provides expert services in Art Storage, and Art Transportation.
Firstly, the Mind's Eye website in itself is a visual treat. Have a look by clicking on the linky in the paragraph above. I also found the content, and information provided within the pages of this site to be informative, and useful. The topic of art storage is not one that I am overly familiar with on a personal level, but I do feel far better informed after reading through the Mind's Eye site.
While there I also noted that this company has been given a nod by Chubb, my own insurer, which adds to the fact you are dealing with experts.
If you would like further information on the services provided just surf on over, and fill out the short request pricing form. You will be contacted by one of the Mind's Eye professionals to discuss your needs.
Cheers!

Good morning my peeps! Today I am reviewing a website that provides information on how to Sell Endowments quickly, and with a minimum of hassle, and a maximum of profit. Sounds interesting doesn't it! Goodly, now read on.....
I surfed on over to the Endowment Express website, and was immediately struck by the fact that it provides a wealth of information on the topic of selling endowments, including a detailed Frequently Asked Questions section. After reading this particular page I had a much better sense of why some people choose to Sell Endowments, and exactly what would be involved in doing so. I definitely was left with the impression that I was dealing with experts.
Another feature of the website that I explored was the quote form, which was user friendly, and appeared quite simple to fill out. Endowment Express also quite clearly states that the end user is under absolutely no obligation to accept any of the quotes they are offered. In my opinion this is a good informational tool, and again because you are under no obligation it is risk free.
You can check out Endowment Express through the web via the links I've added into this blog entry or call them up toll-free in the UK at 0800 091 1913 to speak with a live person.
It was a pleasure to review this site.

Not so wordless......
....but I thought the above image deserved a wee description. This is an Alfa Romeo 1935 6C 2300 Pescara Spyder, once owned by Benito Mussolini, which has recently been sold for £550,000 ($1.1m) - a world record price for that model.

Some Guinness was spilled on the barroom floor
when the pub was shut for the night.
Out of his hole crept a wee brown mouse
and stood in the pale moonlight.
He lapped up the frothy brew from the floor,
then back on his haunches he sat.
And all night long you could hear him roar,
'Bring on the goddam cat!'

This weekend, collectors and others alike can go to the Palms for an auction.
If you are willing to shell out thousands, even millions of dollars you could own the gun used to kill Lee Harvey Oswald or the hat worn by "The Wicked Witch of the West".
Action News reporter Tiffani Sargent has more on what others items are up on the auction block.
"There must be 100 things in these roughly 1000 items that would qualify as a star attraction in any museum or privately owned collection in the world," explained Arlan Ettinger.
They are items that are the finest in pop culture.
"That whip and holy grail came from the Indiana Jones series," said Ettinger.
Among the items are several reminders of our country's past.
"This is the first FBI badge ever created and it was J. Edgar Hoover's," explained Ettinger.
All of this owned by one man, a Florida real estate developer named Anthony Pugliese.
"With his passions now shifted, he has decided to let it go," said Ettinger.
Among all the movie memorabilia, you will find the premiere piece of this collection: the gun used by Jack Ruby to kill accused presidential assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.
"It is not beautiful, it is not joyful to be sure, but it changed, to a certain degree, life as we know it," said Ettinger.
Pugliese paid about a quarter of a million dollars to Ruby's family 20 years ago.
Bids for the gun will probably start at about a million.
"This beautiful Rolls Royce Corniche Convertible was owned by none other than Frank Sinatra," explained Ettinger.
The car has a license plate that says it all, "Blue Eyes".
The majority of this collection has a Hollywood feel, from the older genre there is the hat worn by The Wicked Witch of the West.
"It is the hat she melted in," explained Ettinger.
Al Pacino's automatic weapon from scarface is also up for bidding.
Another item is the Shakespeare bust that opens at the chin to reveal the secret buttons for the bat cave.
The entire collection expected to generate in the millions of dollars.
Pugliese plans to use the proceeds of the auction to build an eco - sustainable city in Central Florida.
Bidding starts today!

According to the BBC a gingerbread war erupts in Cumbria over who has the rights to the famous Grasmere gingerbread name. Read on:
Sarah Nelson's first sold the product to tourists 150 years ago and now the owners want to trademark the name.
But rival seller Steve Bell from the Riverside Cafe said he has also produced the sweet for years and losing the right to sell it would be "unfair".
Even the local Lib Dem MP Tim Farron has got involved claiming branding the product was "excessive".
Alan Air, spokesman for Sarah Nelson's, said: "This is a small family business with a lot of integrity.
"There are precedents like Yorkshire Tea and Newcastle Brown Ale - they are quality products that need to be protected from unscrupulous people trying to trade off their reputation."
But rival seller Mr Bell responded: "I believe the aim of the trademark is to create a monopoly.
Hmmm .... one wonders if Big Sugar has anything to do with this!
Now I think I'm going to brew up some tea, and partake of some gingerbread (I love the stuff) as this article has made me quite hungry!
Cheers!
