The standard last note on the old blog... PLEASE SUPPORT THE DREAM!

This blog is here to help promote a dream that an entire family shares... that dream is to rescue an old London Double-Decker bus.

Please, if you have a few minutes, take some time to find out more about this bus and the kooky dream by clicking here.

This bus is VERY special to myself and the whole family, and any help any person can lend us would be most gratefully accepted.

If you or someone you know might be interested, there's our tiny banner site, HelpCoverTheBus.Com and a PayPal donation button (see the upper-right hand side of the blog) and, of course, a Cafe Press shop for T-Shirts and shtuff!
(...and who doesn't need some shtuff!)

Please help us make this dream a reality and save a piece of history!

We thank you for your support!

Please Note: We are also hoping for help from a public relations/marketing standpoint... If you might be able to assist OR know someone who might be willing to, please click here and read this entry...

The buses are a lot prettier when they're all shiny, Matthew.

Love the pics of the buses! Reminds me of when I was in London as a teenager and being able to grab the pole and jump onto the bus when it hadn't yet stopped yet:) Just like the locals. They used to mostly slowed down in anticipation of stopping but everyone jumped on and off before they stopped:) It's an exhilarating feeling:):)

Hope you guys get the feeling soon!! :)

I thought it was going to be a sad ending but it wasn't!

But one thing: don't they topple over easily?

A pink doubledecker would be SOOOO COOOOOOL... !! :) Ya know what would look cooler? Silver. Any silver ones?? (aside from that one in your fleet. :)) My son has a toy one that's silver. Can't remember where he got it, though.

Got an interesting link on my post for today you might like.. you bein' a Hiztree buff n' all. ;)

Hey Sweety... It wasn't pink, it was red... but after years of neglect, it had faded.

Hi SandyCarlson... Thank you!

Hello Bridget... Thank you as well!

Heya utenzi... I promise to keep our shiny!

Hey there, Nancy... Me too... but I have visited London in the past and know what you mean about "hopping" on and off!

Greetings meeyauw... Nope, not at all. See this post (click here).

ONIT... I'll post a sliver one next week, promise! I'll check the link out too!

YAY! :)

So didja ever get past bein' the anti-christ? (I told my son that was Barney, by the way - you should have seen - one time, we were interviewing nannies.. and she was talking about how her son watched Barney every day.. and my son piped up, "Oh, I can't watch that.. Barney's the purple anti-christ!".. and she was way into Christianity, too.. ~snicker~)

ONIT... Well, seriously, we all know that the anti-Christ has been limited to three potential candidates... John Tesh, David Hasslehoff, and Yanni.

~gasp~ You don't like the Hoff??? How can you NOT love that bad acting, worse singing, drunken excuse for a man? I'm just.. I'm not sure we can be friends anymore.. I mean.. The Hoff... and all his hoffness.. hoffing hoffiousity...

And in order to have an "anti-christ".. one must first be convinced of a christ. ;)

ONIT... Now there's a lofty post in the making... DO you need to believe in the Devil to believe in God or vice-versa? Oooo...

...and who said I didn't like "The Hoff"? It's just that there is VERY good and clear evidence. Click here to see what I mean. (Note what Hoff is quoted as saying... about... BARNEY!)

Man.. don't send someone with ADD off to look at a link.. 'cause it takes FOREVER to get back here if there are other sites connected to that link. LOL

Nope.. still no evidence about The Hoff.. everything he said relates to the bible in some way.. and unless you can do a comparison between the Hoff and Grimms Fairly Tales or Mother Goose or any of the other Fantasy literature out there, I'm still not fallin' for it. (Although the Barney thing - that was just weird.)

So.. let's see that post, Sunshine.. You KNOW I'll be able to come up with a comment or two about it. ;)
