The standard last note on the old blog... PLEASE SUPPORT THE DREAM!

This blog is here to help promote a dream that an entire family shares... that dream is to rescue an old London Double-Decker bus.

RLH 3

Please, if you have a few minutes, take some time to find out more about this bus and the kooky dream by clicking here.

This bus is VERY special to myself and the whole family, and any help any person can lend us would be most gratefully accepted.

If you or someone you know might be interested, there's our tiny banner site, HelpCoverTheBus.Com and a PayPal donation button (see the upper-right hand side of the blog) and, of course, a Cafe Press shop for T-Shirts and shtuff!
(...and who doesn't need some shtuff!)

Please help us make this dream a reality and save a piece of history!

We thank you for your support!

Please Note: We are also hoping for help from a public relations/marketing standpoint... If you might be able to assist OR know someone who might be willing to, please click here and read this entry...

I love this photo. I have ridden a double decker bus when we were stationed in England. It was so much fun. My eldest son got to ride one every day to school. Happy WW :)

Hey alvis... Needless to say, we'd recommend tour or trip in one of these buses! They are a grand way to travel... for public transport!

Hi TorAa... The oldies were best with the open platform and conductor... a thing of the past, sad to say... I wish we'd been on the tour, but we too suffice to simply enjoy the photos too.

Hello Karen... I promise as nice/cool/fun photos every Wednesday... and all "busly"! Who knows, one day it might be "our" bus in one of them!

Greetings Toni... Thanks and so do we!

Hey Bobbie... Well, we haven't got our yet... but when we do, we hope it'll make a great day-tripper and whatnot!

Hi amy... You as well!

Hello Bridget... There's more to come... and hopefully some more interesting ones although the "pretty ones" always rock for me!

Greetings Angel Mama... Thank you very kindly! We're gonna keep working on it... it is very important to us!

Hey Biker Betty... Thanks for sharing the memory! I must "pop-over" to your blog... I'd love to hear more about your time stationed in England!

Hi JennieBoo... Beatles, sure, but The Who really did the busly thing... Click here for some memories and some interesting news on an old album cover...

Hello Lisa... That's KIND of our plan... just Sue and I and the puppies... but the nice thing is, the size is perfect to take the little one with us too until she outgrows being with her stinky parents.

Greetings Donna W... You'd be surprised at how stable they are... Click here to read a little bit of the myths about these buses... including them tipping over!

I wouldn't want to drive it, but I'd love to hope on for a ride up top.

Very cool - I have only saw one (or maybe two) of these... and here in my part of the country (which is literally the country) you don't see 'em at all...

Hi Mimi Lenox... Well, I do wish for peace, but I'm going to do this in my own way, if that's okay...

One Old Green Bus

This blog is (more or less) about the attempts to acquire a dusty, old, double-decker bus...restore, and refurbish her...for use as a camper/RV, and day tripper for fun, and travel

The bus is a Regent Low Height (to be exact, RLH 3) in Santa Rosa, California... To purchase and ship it to our home in Toronto, Ontario, Canada will require a minimum of $20k in US dollars to achieve...

As goofy as it may seem, owning this old, dusty, non-running, needs a tonne of work bus would be a dream come true for our family.
