A woman sat in a bath of cold milk outside Parliament in protest at the price per litre dairy farmers are paid.

Isla Arendell, 39, a member of the Women's Institute from Tutshill, Gloucestershire, said her demonstration showed milk is now as cheap as water.

"British dairy farmers are paid 18p per litre, whereas 10 years ago they were paid 24.5p per litre," she said.

I gotta admire the intelligence behind this campaign... and the tolerance to cold that Ms. Arendell has. This truly gets her (and the The Women's Institute's) message across... and although it BASHES one over the head with the message, it's not truly aggressive... and yes, the point is taken by anyone who read/saw this campaign!

You gotta admire that!

I wish I could hire her (and whoever thought up the "demonstration" to come up with ideas to get the bus!

...and no, I don't think bathing would be appropriate for the bus.

...but to prove how effective this campaign was, even I now think that dairy farmers in Great Britain are getting a raw deal.
